Selection criteria:
Applicants to the MSc in Information Security will be selected according to the following criteria:

  • Academic curriculae assessment, in a scale from 0 (zero) to 20 (twenty);
  • Assessment results of the selection interview, which aims to assess the applicant's preparation in scientific key domains, his professional experience and his goals within the MSc.

The selection interview will be assessed in a scale from 0 (zero) to 20 (twenty). This will be the applicants' final average assessment, which results from the sum of the simple arithmetic averages, rounded to decimals, attributed by each member of the assessment board. These averages will be calculated as the weighted average of the assessment of academic curriculae (AC) and professional experience (E), as follows: ((6xAC)+(4xE))/10.

In the 1st phase applicants with final assessment inferior to 14 (fourteen) will not be admitted. These candidates will later on be ordered by assessment results and taken into account together with 2nd phase applicants.
